….Since 2016, MABELLEarts has been inviting neighbours—including many newcomers and refugees newly settled in the area—to Broadacres Park, a park located in Toronto's West Mall neighbourhood. Through July and August, MABELLEartists and Community Leaders welcomed Etobcioke residents and local partners including the Arab Community Centre of Toronto and North York Community House to create art, cook together over an open fire, and artfully explore Broadacres Park. On August 25th, artists, musicians, First Nations knowledge keepers and community members of all ages and backgrounds transformed the Broadacres Park into a bustling night market, and welcomed over 200 guests and artists from across the country. .. Depuis 2016, MABELLEarts invite ses voisins (comptant parmi eux de nombreux nouveaux arrivants et réfugiés récemment installés dans la région) au parc Broadacres situé dans le quartier West Mall de Toronto. En juillet et en août, les artistes et leaders communautaires de MABELLE ont accueilli des résidents d’Etobicoke et des partenaires locaux; notamment, le Centre communautaire arabe de Toronto ainsi que la Maison communautaire de North York, afin de créer des œuvres d'art, de cuisiner ensemble à ciel ouvert et d'explorer artistiquement le parc Broadacres. Le 25 août dernier, des artistes, des musiciens, des Gardiens du Savoir des Premières Nations et des membres de la communauté de tous âges et de toutes origines ont transformé le parc Broadacres en un marché nocturne animé. Ils y ont accueilli plus de 200 invités et artistes de partout au pays. ….
